Impromptu Studio is a month to month service. This price includes what is listed below with the plan as well as many other amenities. Contact us or stop by to get information on signing up!
Impromptu Membership Comparison (pdf)
Rechargeable QR ID Card
$75/5 Days What this plan does is allows a member to purchase a 5 days at a time and use them as they need them. Unlike our 5 day monthly plan these days transfer from month to month without expiring. We have new cards that allow us to keep track of your days and helps you keep track of how any days you have left and when you need to “refill” your card.
Basic Member
$25/month For those who use Impromptu Studio more than once a month for coworking or to be included in the member directory. You can sign up for a Basic Membership to show support for Impromptu Studio and the events/meetings it hosts as well.
- Automated payment through Paypal (Monthly Recurring)
- 2 days of coworking included.
- Additional days @ $20/day
- Access 8am – 6pm M-F

- Cowork from large work tables

- Basic Membership
Basic Premium Member
$50/month For those who use Impromptu Studio more than a couple times a month. The Basic Premium Membership includes everything in the Basic Membership plus:
- 5 days of coworking included.
- Additional days @ $15/day
- Basic Premium Membership
Lite Member -
$175/month (3 month term) or $200/month (month-to-month) For those who are very mobile and don’t need storage. The Lite Membership includes everything in the Basic Membership plus:
- Pay monthly by check
- Conference and Meeting room access
- Priority Scheduling for Meeting and Conference Rooms
- Cowork from large work tables or a floating desk
- Add 24×7 Access w/key for $50/month
- Name, bio, and 2 web links appear in online member directory.

Full Member
$325/month (3 month term) or $350/month (month-to-month) For those who want a permanent desk and storage. The Full Membership includes everything in the Basic Membership plus:
- Pay monthly by check
- Key for 24×7 Access
- Meeting and Conference Room Access
- High Priority Scheduling for Meeting and Conference Rooms
- Permanent Desk
- Storage
- Name, bio, and 2 web links appear in online member directory.

Partner in Innovation
$525/month (3 month term) or $550/month (month-to-month) For those who want a permanent desk and storage. This Membership includes everything in the Full Membership and Basic Membership plus:
- Recognition (through a plaque on our wall) as a Sponsor of Impromptu
- Ability to host paid event here in our space.
- Highest Priority Scheduling for Meeting and Conference Rooms

Event Hosting & Meeting Space For Non-Profit Groups
If you hold monthly informational or speaker driven meetings/events please contact us about holding your event or meeting at Impromptu Studio at no cost or at a discounted rate. We would love to have your group.

We try to hold a substantial amount of events that are open to public. People have donated their time and effort in the past which makes us feel grateful for the Des Moines community we are building. We appreciate those efforts greatly. If you however would prefer to donate via your checkbook we appreciate that as well. It goes to keeping this space running and the events flowing in!
